Sarah Wettemann is a media director and visual storyteller based in Denver, Colorado. She currently serves as an Assistant Director of Digital Media and Communication at the University of Denver, creating social media content and curating digital strategy for NCAA tournament teams, including the 2024 Frozen Four.

As an Oklahoma State University alumnus with a bachelor’s degree in sports media. She’s sought out opportunities through which I’m able to further my affinity for and knowledge of social media, creative content and digital storytelling. That ambition has empowered her to constantly seek out new opportunities to apply and advance my skillsets as a creative and communications professional.

As she looks to the future, Sarah envisions a pursuit of her passion for telling stories of outdoor adventure, athletics and recreation. She enjoys collaborating with a team of creatives to tell stories through social media. Sarah’s vision for storytelling goes beyond simply capturing the world around her, but to use a variety of platforms to showcase the people behind the stories.
